"beware of
savage
fruit
it will
cast out
many foolish
roses"
Pencil, Sharpie and pen.

My daughter had a look through my book today and asked if she could do a page and this is the result. I think I'll encourage her to have a go with a book of her own. ;o)
"gentle spirit
peacemaker
a lamp is lit
to complete
what is right"
Watercolour pencil and biro.

"someone sues you
to the
the last farthing
without good cause"
Watercolour pencil, biro, gesso and oil pastel.

I've just realised that I've got two "the's" highlighted in the text! :o( Not sure whether I'll let it be or fiddle with it!
The hearts are showing through from the next page but I've decide not to try and disguise anything like this.

"conventional

clarity"

Watercolour pencil and biro.

"go"

Acrylic paint and gel pen.

"and angels appeared"

Biro and felt tip pen.
"hope"
Sharpie, biro and crayon.
The bottom of the page was a happy accident brought about from my biro marks on the clusters page coming through the crayon page opposite this one! :o) I really liked the effect so left it as it was.

"lingering regret
cherished view
in the end
our intention
is
liberty
of
poetry"
Crayon and biro.

"the structure
of contemporary
clusters
can hardly hope
to be
representative"
Coloured biro.

top - "completelynew friends, great advantage available"
blue fibe tip pen

bottom - "alterations enrich appreciation"

Black biro.

I wanted to have a go at a couple of pages just using one colour. I'm finding it difficult to find text on these preface/introduction pages, it's dry old text at the front of Bibles!! Consequently, I'm not very happy with either of these and also because the text doesn't stand out very well.

"a task both long and difficult"

black biro and coloured pencil

I did this page this morning while waiting for DD to get ready for school, was impressed with myself for knocking a spread out in 15 minutes! Maybe timed art slots are something for me to consider!!

"a new departure
the advance of
textual
corruption
restoring
vanished
evidence"

Black biro and watercolours

I've gone backwards in my book to work on the intro and preface pages. This txt leapt out at me and made me chuckle! ;oD

"passion
fulfilled
in the wilderness"

poster paint, ink pad, blue biro, green fibre tip pen

"in a dream
you
found me"

black biro, watercolour paints

I'm a big fan of cross hatching so I think there'll be lots in this book!
"you have learned
do not turn your back
when you
imagine"

"do not look
in the secret place
for treasure
treasure
is
in
yout heart"

marker pen, green fibre tip pen, black biro, red gel pen

I'm not sure I'm finished with this, think I'll probably come back to this one.
